Dear all,
I created a TM1 report using perspectives, the following steps were followed,
1. Connected to the TM1 server in Perspectives
2. Used In-Spreadsheet Browser(ISB) to create a view of the cube and used 'slice' option.
3. Then saved the slice as an excel using 'Print Report' option in perspective.
Then i created an application folder and added a the excel using 'Add file' option(used the 'Copy the file to TM1 Server' and made it public).
Now i am able to view the excel in TM1 web but when i click on the websheet in TM1 web, i get an option to download the excel.
I am not able to view the excel in TM1 web itself i.e as websheet.
Kindly tell me where am i getting it wrong ?
The screenshots in the following order
1. The result i am getting now
2. Expected result
3. The files i loaded and the default files in TM1 web for planning sample model
Thanks in Advance.

Re: Websheets in TM1 Web
Hello
Normally, you would open up the spreadsheet in Excel, and use the "Upload" and "Update" icons/menu options
to upload to TM1 Web (or update an existing websheet).

Re: Websheets in TM1 Web
Has anyone found the cause of this symptom?
TM1web prompts to save the file regardless of the excel format. (XLS or XLSX)
I've attempted to upload the file multiple ways. Through the upload function in perspective as well as adding file in the application folder through Architech.
The following IBM solution did not help.

Any thoughts?

Re: Websheets in TM1 Web
Kingsley,
I believe you have a different issue than the original poster. Did you recently migrate your environment to 10.2? If you are getting this issue in the web it is most likely because your reports weren't migrated correctly. In architect, right click the report that is having the issue and select "Convert Excel File to OpenXML file format". This should only need to be done for reports that have been migrated from an earlier version. Also, 10.2 only supports xlsx and xlsm file formats.
