I FOUND that page in contributor downloads some time. The time of downloading depends of size of data. Page which contains 20 columns downloads faster than page of downloading of 100 columns
But anyway time of downloding cubes in contributor is much more than in perspective. So that can be done to improve performance in contributor? May be something can be done in settings of web server. I Have IIS .
Can somebody gives advice?

Hi, I have this problem also. Probably you use IE as a browser, try to use FireFox or Chrome, those will be much faster. If you use Tm1 10, you can also use Cognos Insight as front-end for input (on your TM1 applications), this will be much faster also.
I posted this with IBM, their reply;
I did some research into IE V firefox performance with TM1, and a ticket
was already raised to development. They tried to see if it was possible
to tune IE8's advanced settings, such as number of connections, to make
it perform better but found nothing significant in that area. They
concluded that Firefox has been proven generally be much faster compared
to IE, regardless of
tm1web. That has primarily been a driving force to make it a popular
browser choice over IE ( Google Chrome has been even faster ).
.
Another suggestion was to raise a ticket with Microsoft as the issue
does not appear to be unique to TM1.

I do also recall when installing and configuring CX 10.1 in a VM that IE (9) just didn't work with PM and Insight and FF was fine.

It seems you are right. Contributor works in FireFox faster (may be in 2 times) than in IE. It is pity that we are using IE in our company.

In almost every company (where I work) IE is used. In the past we did some tests, FF and Chrome are indeed up to 2 times faster. Speed is depending on the grid size (rows*columns), In my example it took 8 to 10 secs to load the biggest grid in IE and 4 to 5 secs in FF, we didn't test chrome. It took TM1 about 1 sec to retrieve the data.
As I said before, if you use tm1 10, cognos insight is an option. It takes some time to load it after selecting the node in tm1 applications (contributor), but after that it works much faster(input data, refresh, commit, recalc, etc).

i am going through the same situation. The cube takes 1 second to open in TM1 architect but in contributor it takes 8 seconds.
IE 8 and i am using TM1 10.1. Cognos insight is not an option for me
