Hi

Our tm1 severs went down to due to low disk space issue. When I looked at logfile, i fond these details.

1) 7440 [] FATAL 2012-08-21 05:24:54.135 TM1.System.File TM1 Server Abort: Write error on file "h:\program files\cognos\tm1\custom\tm1data\planning model tst20 logs\tm1s.log". Error = There is not enough space on the disk.
2) 6680 [] FATAL 2012-08-21 05:55:14.889 TM1.System.File TM1 Server Abort: Write error on file "h:\program files\cognos\tm1\custom\tm1data\fin plaanning tst20\Project Exp}vues\Export_View.vue$". Error = There is not enough space on the disk.

Questions

1) Why is it saying not enough space on the disk due \planning model tst3 logs\tm1s.log". We maitain the tm1s.log file outside tm1 data directory.
\\TM1TST20\TM1Data\Planning model TST3
\\TM1TST20\TM1Data\Planning model Tst20 Logs- (data directory path)

2) What is Project Cost}vues\Export_View.vue$- I know these are cubes view-is the size of view causing issue for server down? (In this sever also we keep logfile outside tm1 data directory as said number (1))

Looking for clarifications and advise.
Regards,

Sorry, I don't really know what you're asking. What the logfile is telling you is that it is unable to write to the server's h: drive because there is no space left.

Regards,
A vue file is a saved view. A user or perhaps a TI process has created a view called "Export_View" on the "Project Cost" cube. The vue file itself will be tiny and is not the problem here. Check your logs folder, I would guess you've got gigabytes and gigabytes of transaction logs.
