Hi,
I have updated an excel file in application foler and when i tried to open the same file in TM1 web I got an error,
Please find the attachment for the error.

Delete it from Applications folder and republish.

thank you, but still it is same, the error is repeating even after republished.
Can you give me any more suggestions.
TM1 version is 9.5 and excel version is 2010.

Charan .... trying renaming the "Excelreport.bin" file in ..\wwwroot\TM1WebEx\ExcelSheet (on the web server) as "Excelreport.old"

Depends on the sub version. TM1 Ver 9.5.2 supports Excel 2010, Ver 9.5.1 and 9.5 do not.

I am working on remote server, I do not have [tmsd.exe] file in bin folder of TM1, is this creating any problem for the services in TM1 web.

Are any of your DRBW formulas within an IF statement?
Are you doing any additional calculations with the DBRW formula? For example, dividing by a range name or a cell reference?
Are you using conditional formatting within your format area?

If so, your Excel report will not work as a TM1Web report and you will typically get an error message that looks like the first couple of sentences that you provided below

While TM1 and Excel are almost limitless in regards to report development, TM1 Web is very limited in regards to advanced functionality within the spreadsheet

thank you Solanna,
I did not try with any DB functions or any type of formating, I just updated slice of view from TM1 cube into application folder.
The same file I tried to open it in the TM1 web.
Then I am facing this error

TM1 9.5.2
Excel 2010.

OK, just trying to eliminate that the issue is not an Excel development issue

Have you installed Excel on the TM1 Server?
Is the Web Server on the same box as the TM1 Server?

I fortunately work in an environment where all TM1 components are installed on the same server including Excel and I only have issues uploading TM1 Active Forms that have complexity that TM1 Web can't handle

If you have access to a development server you may want to test this if Excel is not currently installed on the Web/TM1 server

Everything is done for all your questions, actually now I have uninstalled MS-Office 2010 and installed with MS Office 2007, but still same error.
I have updated the file with .xls format but still same issue.
Please help me.
