access to contributor

Hi,
When I am trying to access contributor application, i am unable to log-in with the credentials provided to me, with the same credentials i am able to log-in the server with architect client but unable to log-in the contributor application(web client).
The URL is http://servername:8080/pmpsvc.
When the server name is given as local I can enter the application but after selecting the entities I am not getting the view of the contributor application, it strucks here,
when I give the servername, which provided by my client the credentials are not working.
