SKIPCHECK in inter-cube FEEDER only rule?

Does anyone know the answer to this? I would be grateful for guidance.
In a rule which has no statements other than an inter-cube feeder, is "SKIPCHECK" still required?
Regards, Ian

I'm not sure but I don't think you do yourself harm by having skipcheck in place given that you have a rule sheet anyway

I seemed to remember reading that it was required. Here's the post I was thinking of:

This may have changed in the interim but easy enough to test I suppose.
Out of interest, why would you want to avoid using Skipheck? Given there are no rules that need to be fed in your cube, is there any overhead to having Skipcheck switched on?

Thanks for the feedback all.
asutcliffe, there isn't any reason for me to avoid putting skipcheck in: I was just posing the question:
- out of interest because I couldn't see the logic one way or the other
- because I wanted to eliminate that as a possible reason for some issues I am working through
No doubt there is a programming logic but I can happily acquiesce for now.
SKIPCHECK goes in!
