Hi out of the blue the Cognos Express service is failing to start.

In the cbs_run.log file i am getting the following error:
"Wed Jul 18 01:32:05 2012 ERROR t[5d84] CBSBootstrapService failed to find CBS element in bootstrap config (via CFGAPI)"

Anyone able to offer any help on this issue?

restart physical server?

Somehow the file structure had changed!
Did a restore from backup and got it up and running again.
