Ambiguous feeder syntax?

Post by Steve Vincent »

I'm trying to feed from a 13 dim cube to a 5 dim one where several of the dimensions in the feeding cube share top level element names. I know that ambiguous calculations can be dealt with by using a [Dim1.'Element Name'] type of syntax but the same doesn't compile when applied to a feeder. I've found no examples in any documentation or on here, does anyone know if it is even possible and if so what the magic syntax is?

The structures are not set by me so the easy option of renaming things to become unique is not one i can take...

TIA
If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator.

Hi Steve, I don't know that this helps, but I have a couple of feeders that do use the ['dimension name':'element name'] syntax on the left hand side of a feeder. There isn't something else going wrong is there?

*face palm*

2 blocks of feeders, both had the same issue. Was editing one, forgot about the other! Thanks :)
