Can't save edits to a TI process

Post by sjokesson »

I want to make changes to a TI process, but when I click "save" there is no response and no changes are saved (when I exit the process then come back it is the same as before). When I select "save as" there is no response. I have already tried restarting the server, and this has made no difference. The process, by the way, still runs when executed.

For all other TI processes, I can save changes. For these other processes, when I select "save as" TM1 asks me for a name then correctly duplicates the process under the new name.

My version is 9.5.2. The TI process which won't save is one built with the wizard, importing a csv file to update a cube and several dimensions. Nothing is special.

Just two days ago I was making multiple edits to this TI process without any problems.

Any suggestions???

One correction: the process will execute before I make edits. Once I make edits and have (unsuccessfully) tried to save changes, I get no response when I click the execute button.

It sounds like a permission's problem to the folder where the TM1 data is stored. Make sure the ID that the TM1 service runs under has Admin rights to the folder.

hi, Check the TI process does not have 'Security Access' turned on, (right click on TI) if so only Admin can edit. you will need to logon as Admin and turn this off for the edit (or edit as Admin)
