Hell all,
First Please forgive my ignorance about TM1. I am trying to build a cube from a flat file and having challenges in mapping columns with either existing dimension and/or elements in cubes. Here is what i am trying to do..
1. i have flat file that contains general ledger data of about 15 accounts that is already existed in Account Dimension but i want to build new cube with one time data load from this flat file and then from onward i need to bring data to this new cube from my general ledger account dimension for only those 15 accounts.
2. in this flat file there are three more columns X,Y,Z that are also already existed in investor dimension and i want to attach these three column in addition to my 15 general ledger account columns as mentioned above.
3. i have another dimension that is called property dimension and it has property code w12345 with aliases such as propertyname. In my flat file i have columns that has only propertynames and i want to map this column with existing property dimension containing names with code.
Finally when i will create a view of my new cube i want to chose property from property dimension to be displayed as column and all 15 accounts data plus X,Y,Z investors data to be displayed against chosen property or total properties.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Your post is difficult to respond to because you haven't asked a direct question for which people can try and give you helpful answers. You have stated your objectives in TM1, but haven't said what you've tried, or where in particular you've had a difficulty. People don't know if you're using TI, or some other method to import data.

You might find it useful to attempt to implement all the steps that you've outlined and then return with any specific issues you encountered.
