Limiting View to a Single Server

Hi,

Running 9.5.1 over citrix
Excel 7 is the main interface
When a user goes to log on via excel he/she can see all the services in the drop down menu, is it possible to to restrict the drop down to only the service that is relevant to the user? i.e. I do not want the user to know that other services exist.

Does Tm1 interact with the windows registry in this regard ?

Many thanks.

Gavin.
ADMIN NOTE : Please post in the correct forum, Cognos TM1 for TM1 questions

Users will only be able to log to the Service to which they have been given access to. If a user do not have access to the other Services then even if they can see the names of services they will not be able to log on to these other services.

There is no such built-in option in TM1 by which you can stop the users to see the names of other services. If this is really a big issue in your environment then you will have to move these services to separate Admin Hosts.

True, but there is no law that says the Admin Host has to be running on the same box as the TM1 Service. You can run the Admin Host service on any machine.
