the error was because both parent and child are in same codes, i have changed now it is succesful but one more issue,i have given attribute for child element,
why i have given attribute to child because child element has description.
The attribute is showing when we open the dimension with element attribute.
But when selecting alias in the subset editor, the alias is not displayed. The process is succesful
Find the attachment.

thanks and regards

Are you sure you have input the code exactly as the TM1 Cookbook chapter has asked you too?

I've not reached this section just yet but hope to have a look soon.

Your attribute 'another' is a text attribute, not an alias, so it will not show up on the list of available aliases in Subset Editor.

Also, viswaraju, you have been asked many a time to read and follow the guidelines on how to ask a good question, yet you have not shown any evidence whatsoever to have tried that. This makes me think that you will one day realise you have to answer your own questions, because no-one else will be able to understand them or have enough information to answer them. Oh wait, this is already happening.
