No Commit Button

I am having an issue where users have taken ownership of a node in contributor and can enter data into the cubes, but the Sandbox and Commit button is grayed out. This is not happening to everybody and security is set up correctly. When they make changes to items within contributor that data is not saved back to the cube. Has anybody seen any like this or have a fix for it.

To add a little more detail I went in as a user that belongs to the same group as the users. When I then take ownership from the other user I am able to commit data, however a side affect of me taking ownership is that all the nodes that the user has access to then turn to available and not started, where before they were reserved. On the positive side the user can then commit there changes but then all changes that were entered are then lost. Thoughts?

Was this issue resolved?
We are having a similar issue where the user takes the ownership of the node and enters the data, but can't commit the data. As an admin, I took the ownership of the node and released it. Then the user took the ownership and can see the commit button.
After a while, the user opened the node in TM1 Application web again and the issue is back. This is very frustrating to the users and they are ready to give up on the tool as we had lost data about a year ago.
We are on Windows 10.1.1 & TM1 Application Web. Any help is really appreciated.

If you take ownership after entering the model at the parent node, and then enter at a child node, the commit button will not be available. You have a couple choices. Either go back in at the parent node or release ownership and re-take ownership after entering at the child node.
