User cannot see results of DBRW's in TM1 web

Hi all,

I'm using 9.5.2 /excel 2007 and TM1 web.

An end user cannot see the results of DBRW formulas in TM1 web. However, they can see the results if they open up the excel worksheet that the web sheet is based on. It is only happening for one report - other reports she can see fine.

I have checked the cube and dimension security and no problems there (she wouldn't have been able to bring back the results in the worksheet or cubeviewer is she did not have access).

Other users can access the report and see the DBRW results fine - just her.

Any ideas?

Cheers

When you say "cannot see", what are we talking here; blank cells, or hash marks?

What I'm getting at is the possibility that she's zoomed her browser view, causing the oh-so immaculately formatted web sheet's columns to become too narrow for their contents.

Hi Alan,

thanks for the prompt reply. Blank cells is whet she is seeing. I have been logging in as her and me to test and both have the same zoom setting etc.

To elaborate more:

at the top of the worksheet there is a =TM1USER("TM1_TCMS") then an ELCOMP formula which will only show elements of a dim that this user has access to (via a named subset of the dim which matches her name). This first Elcomp works fine. There are then other Elcomps which feeds combo boxes for her to narrow down her selection of what she wants to view in the report. These all work fine in excel under her log in. However in TM1 web they are not displaying results.

The ELCOMP formulas reference an INDEX column so it is not a case of them referencing a CELL() formula which works in excel but not TM! web.

Also - this report works fine for other users!

Cheers
