TM1 Active form cell protection throws errors

Hi All,


I am trying to restrict write access to the users in active form. I have tried to use the cell lock and sheet protection. It works fine when you use the sheet in TM1 web. But it gives error message when you open that sheet in perspectives to update it.


When you open the sheet, it gives visual basic erroe message and excel errors sayign " the sheet you are trying to open is write protected ", although it allows you to update the sheet.

However when you try to upload new application to TM1 server or update the existing one, it provides the visual basic error message "Run time error 91 : object variable or with block variable not set". and it does not allow you upload.
