We're on TM1 9.5.2 and Cognos 10.1.

We would like to provide Summary data in TM1 and have the users be able to drill
from a TM1 View to a Cognos Report Studio Report for the detailed data.

Is this possible ??

"Drill to Cognos report" or even a more generic "Drill to URL" would be a great enhancement but isn't a current feature.

Drilling from a cell in a TM1 cube is presently a data exploration feature only; you can drill to another cube view or you can execute a relational SQL query and return the recordset from the query. That's all.

From the cube viewer there's no way to achieve navigating to an external application. However from a websheet it wouldn't be that difficult or technical to have hyperlinks to Cognos 10 reports. Or if you are already embedding TM1 portlets within Cognos BI then why not use some additional frames for navigation to other reports? - Difficult to make this truly dynamic but it's a good start.

You can do this via TM1 web, in fact there have been couple of conversations around this very point in the last couple of days,

Yeah I thought about linking to some of the threads discussing hyperlinks in TM1Web. I guess it depends on what the definition of "drilling" is.
