Hi,

I have set up an String element in a Calendar Dimension called Description.

I would like users to type in ant text they need to but for some reason it will only accept Numbers.

There are rules calculating different currencies, but I have made my Description element STET but still no good.


Has anyone got any ideas please ?

For an element to be treated as string it needs to be in the last dimension of the cube.

So if your fourth dimension is your measure dim and contains strings and numbers and your fifth contains all numbers then this will override your fourth.

If thats not it then not sure!
