How can I tell if TM1 Server is 'up'?

I want to create a report or some indication to my users to show that the system is up.

I think there is a entry in the tm1server.log file but I can't find it.

Can anyone help?

There will be an entry similar to:

1656 INFO 2011-03-30 09:32:41.299 TM1.Server TM1 Server is ready
