Problem Creating Groups in Cognos express.

I am creating a contributor application and I have created some groups in Cognos.

Now there are some groups which shows 'Cognos\GroupName'
and the others shows only GroupName

When i give rights to the group consisting 'Cognos\GroupName' and save it shows right saved successfully. However if i save against the group which shows GroupName it gives me error that rights cannot be saved.

Please help.

This will depend on the level of security set in the CFG file. The groups without the prefix were (I'm guessing) created before you hooked up CAM security. I would stick to teh groups with prefix it will make your life easier.

If your'e planning on using Contributor then you'll need to use the prefix, otherwise it fails.
