We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior TM1 Specialist here at Roche Pharmaceuticals in Basel, Switzerland.
Roche is a global healthcare company with over 80,000 employees and this role sits within the BI Systems team with responsibility for global finance reporting & planning solutions

The role is a permanent position and the key responsibilities include:
Understanding Finance requirements and processes and translating them into a platform specific solution and system design, effectively bridging between business and IT
Conduct development and customizing of IBM COGNOS TM1 solutions
Supporting the test design; conducting and supporting functional (exploratory and system) testing; supporting user acceptance testing
Supporting roll-out activities and Data Migration
Training and supporting users so that they can make the best possible use of the system, including creation of fit for purpose user guides and training material
Partner actively with business as well as IT line management
Coordinating changes for systems within area of responsibility and be ready to assume project management responsibility when necessary.
Ensuring appropriate quality system documentation including technical system documentation, installation scripts, OQ/PQ's, test plans and scripts

In terms of skills then we are looking for the following:
3-5 years of proven hands-on experience in ÌBM COGNOS TM1, having a relevant certificate is an asset.
Experience in applying design principles (business process design tools included) and of integration architecture principles within the targeted area of focus. Solid experience in designing attractive reporting solutions optimized for ease of use
Able to manage ambiguity while coping with challenging customers and project goals
Strong technical skills, systems and requirements analysis with an ability to quickly learn new technical concepts and systems.
Finance business process knowledge (e.g. business planning, accounting, controlling, etc.)
Excellent English language skills, additional languages, e.g. German, French or Spanish are an asset
Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours or on call arrangements to provide support 24/7 (occasionally), availability to travel occasionally.
