I've just raised a PMR asking where the X86 version of TM1Top is for CX (90 and 95). So far as I can see it isn't installable from those oh so friendly menus. The X64 version _is_ installed with the Xcelerator server. Yes, we can muck around with old versions but we are finding that TM1Top for recent releases throws a wobbly if it can't find the sandbox routines, etc etc.
Not impressed.

Re: TM1 Top X86 for Cognos Express

Support responded :
So...Unfortunately Cognos Express require 64bit operating systems:
There is no version for 32bit OS and thus there is no TM1top x86 you may use.
Only clients (such as Architect, Data Advisor, Framework Manager, Xcelerator Client, Planner Administrator) may run on 32bit OS.
Whyyyyy is TM1Top 32 bit in the standard 9.5.x client install? Is it because (shock, horror) TM1Top is a user tool?!?!
Time to dig out a 9.5.1 client install and snaffle the exe and dlls.
Aaargh....

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty certain TM1 Top gets installed as part of the server install, not the client install.David Usherwood wrote: So...

Think you may be right - so I'll lift it from a 32bit server install instead. My grumpiness is unaffected.

Re: TM1 Top X86 for Cognos Express
I can see your confusion here as you used to be able to use the tm1 install to add the tm1top exe to a client PC.
Now the only way to do this is copy the 64bit directory (not great or supported) and only to a 64 bit PC. I.e. Win 7 not XP.
