Hello,
My company is currently considering options for project-based timesheets. Given the capabilities of TM1 and TM1 Contributor, I was wondering whether a developing a timesheet application that leveraged our existing TM1 investment was feasible/desirable.
Has anybody got any experience of developing/using TM1 based timesheets, or any opinions on the subject?
Many thanks!

TM1 is very capable of doing that. I have done something like that before (capturing hours worked on certain manufacturing processes) but it was part of a much bigger model. The value in TM1 is in what you can do with the data once captured, not in just using an Excel spreadsheet or Contributor to be an input form.

Re: Enterprise Timesheets in TM1
We have been using TM1 for project timesheets for 12 years. Works very well, record hours worked, billed by project\consultant on a daily basis. Excellent both for operational reports, billing and management information.alexhancock wrote:Hello,

Data capture either direct or via spreadsheet template.

The architecture does seem well suited, particularly given the Contributor front end available for teams working across multiple sites. Good to know there are existing solutions out there working well.stephen waters wrote:

How many users does your implementation have?
Many thanks for the replies.
