ODBO connection between two different TM1 versions

Hi,
I have a process reading data in another instance through ODBO connection. Both instances are on two different physical servers but run TM1 9.4.1. Everything works fine.
I am now trying to read data from a 9.5.2 instance in a 9.4.1 TM1 instance through ODBO connection. It doesn't work so far. Do you think it is possible?
To be clear, my ODBO process reading data is built in 9.5.2 instance, it tries to read data stored in a 9.4.1 instance.
