HI,
please find the attachment, when i extracted CSV(this is an example), the location code for BRANCH is repeating for FRANCHISE as well.
Please anyone can suggest to solve this, i need codes different for both BRANCH and FRANCHISE.
Both region and location name is same for both channels.
Thanks and regards

Re: Filters in TM1
This has to do with how cube and dimensions interact to create combinations. If you aren't understanding that you may need to go back to basics and think how cubes work.

Re: Filters in TM1
thank you,
everything is exact, the issue is;
for branch there is location code and franchise has location code. After extracting the data the location code is same for both branch and franchise.
The requirement is, the location should be different like in the excel.

This is pretty clear then, not really even worth asking a question. You need to prefix the location code with a channel identifier to indicate a branch vs franchise to make the code unique (maybe use B or F!).viswaraju wrote:thank you,

You also need to rethink the technical naming convention for the location codes. As a 2 alpha abbreviation is simply not going to provide for an awful lot of locations....

Re: Filters in TM1
thank you,
I have tried with B or F, but still it is same like, when i have given prefix B as for branch code, the same code was repeating for franchise as well.
Alpha numeric is what our client given?, as you said i will think of it.
thanks and regards
