HI,
I am requesting,
How to delete the repeating elements(duplicates)in the dimension editor, when we extract the data from external sources through processes.
I have applied hierarchy sort, but still i am seeing the repeated elements.
I have given an attribute for an element in processes in developing i can see the attribute in attribute editor but in subset editor i cannot see the attribute.
Thanks in advance

Re: Structure Format in Dimension Editor
A uniquely named element can be defined once in a dimension and once only. However if the element rolls up to multiple parents and/or depending on indexing the element may display more than once in the subset editor or dimension editor. This is not something you should be concerned about or try to "correct". Each element is defined uniquely and exists only once, it can't be any other way.charan wrote:How to delete the repeating elements(duplicates)in the dimension editor, when we extract the data from external sources through processes.

In the subset editor you must display the properties pane to see attribute values. Also note that if you select a parent in the selection pane then the properties of the children display in the properties pane (quite why this is the case is anybody's guess.)charan wrote:I have given an attribute for an element in processes in developing i can see the attribute in attribute editor but in subset editor i cannot see the attribute.
