Hello everybody,

I've got one issue with TM1 memory allocation.

We have an Tm1 application which it seems to be quite memory consuming but we don't understand why because:

the Tm1 application size is aroud at 9 Gb at start-up.
When users are in the application the memory increases quite a lot (29 Gb now) because there are 3 cube with many on-line calculation. Basically percetanges.
My point is that if I go and see the processes I see tm1sd.exe which is still at 10 Gb but the Memory bar under "Task Manager - Applications" it gives me 29 Gb.

I don't understand first of all why the total of processes is around 10 Gb but the perfomance tab is giving me 29 Gb.
It seems to me that tm1 is booking memory which actual is not using. is that possible?

In our productive server we only have this application, in fact when we shut down the services the total amount is around 1 Gb.

have any of you ever had a situation like this?

The Performance Tab of task manager tells you the CPU History and Memory Consumption for the whole server, not just for TM1. I think there might be an interpretation problem here. Otherwise if TM1 grows from 10 to 29GB through its daily BAU, I think your due for a TM1 health check.
