I think it is interesting to watch as it can drive toward ideas on modelling in other tools, understanding the bigger picture of BI competition and stay up to date...

I watched the Anaplan vs TM1 video, which only briefly mentions TM1 and has some inaudible criticism of it (can anyone else make out what is said at the 40 sec - 1 min mark?), then goes into Anaplan.
They use a BI/EPM quadrant to categorise the various technologies in this space into quadrants - Analytics, Management and Reporting, Enterprise Planning, and Modelling. "IBM Cognos" sits in the Enterprise Planning quadrant;
