The problem is the "Price Segment" will change unpredictable. For Example:
  • In 2010, Sony with 3 Price segments : 100-200 , 200-500 , >500.
    But in 2011 ,Sony changes it's price segments as follow : <50 , 100-150 , 150-300 , 300-500 , >500.
=>The SKUs will fall into new Price Segment in 2011.
Please help me to manage the price segment in this case!

Thanks all,
TIn

You could separate SKU's and price segment into two dimensions. Then create several hierarchies in the price segment dimension for each year.

On-the-fly consolidations have no impact on memory in TM1, as long as nobody wants to access the elements. So you can simply create multiple versions of your hierarchy, e.g. "2011 Total", "2012 Total" with different layout of elements and consolidations under it.
