TM1 Architect Explorer shows only 1 Dimension

This may be a 90 problem but intermittently and quite frequently I am getting my explorer list of dimensions reduced to a single dimension at the head of the list. This occurs on the main dimension list and in the dimension list under cubes.

The cure is to log off and log on again but this is driving me batty. Anyone out there know of the cause and solution to this problem?
