Need some assistance...
Yesterday, my pc was cold booted while my MS-Excel 2003 was open and TM1 (ver 8.4) was active along with Outlook and my browser. When I returned to Excel, I was unable to connect to TM1. I checked the server (still active) but rebooted just in case. Reloaded Excel and still no connection. Went to the Tools Add-in command and the "Unable to Read File" message appeared. The TM1P add-in was still checked.
Normally, a red dot in the left corner of the TM1 command line appears upon opening Excel and turns to green when I log in but now there is nothing there. The company has gone through years of turnover so my TM1 <technical> support is limited. Any thoughts on how to restore my TM1 connection? Thanks.
After trying some other actions, we now come up with a response that says "Can't initialize TM1s.log Directory may be lockec by another server" though we only have one server running. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Regards,
