View Transaction Log grayed out in TM1 Architect Server Expl

Post by abcuser »

Hi,
I would like to study more about 'transactional logs', so I have opened "TM1 Operational Guide" book. In this book there is info to display transaction log in TM1 Architect Server Explorer window by executing right mouse button on <server> and select "View Transaction Log". In my case this option is grayed out. I am logged into TM1 Architect as super-user. How to make it possible to see this option in TM1 Architect?
Thanks

Log on as an administrator (belonging to at least one of the 3 standard administrative security groups).

Are other admin type options also disabled despite the fact that you are a member of the Admin group? Is a copy of the tm1p.lic file present in your setup?

Yes, I have checked all three admin groups for my user and tm1p8.lic file is saved in C:\Windows directory.
Just wondering are there different type's of *.lic file? You wrote tm1p.lic, but I have tm1p8.lic?

I already have similar problem: Architect not displaying all options from right menu (9.5.2) when "Processes, Cubes and Chores" had no right menu option and solved the problem by copying tm1p8.lic to c:\windows directory.
