TM1 9.1.4 on Windows 2008
is it possible to run 9.1.4 on Windows 2008 Server, does anybody have experience with it?

It is likely possible, but definitely not supported by the vendor (as the freely available documentation tells me).

Agreed. The server itself should run fine. Web, however, would be a nightmare because MS completely redesigned that aspect of security in Server 2008.
