On any user workstations in my company, when MS Excel was already opened and user tries to open TM1 Perspectives MS Excel is hanging or sometimes crashing. Can any one help me in this issue.

My TM1 Server Specs:
Microsoft Window Server 2003 Exterprise x64 Edition Service Pack 2
RAM 15.9GB
IBM Cognos Express Xcelerator (Version 9.0)
MS-Office Excel 2007 (12.0.6514.5000)SP2 MSO (12.0.6425.1000)
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
Note: Formula-Workbook Calculates are AUTOMATIC by default

Workstation Specs:
Microsoft Windows XP Professional verson 2002 Service Pack 3
RAM 1.96GB
IBM Cognos Express Xcelerator (Version 9.0)
MS-Office Excel 2007 (12.0.6514.5000)SP2 MSO (12.0.6425.1000)
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
Note: Formula-Workbook Calculates are AUTOMATIC by default

As Cognos Express Xcelerator Perspectives is but a customized version of TM1 Perspectives, and as you are using Excel 2007, are you aware of the recommendation to disable the TM1 Ribbon Bar bin/Tm1pRibbonX.xlam ?
