Excel crashes after upgrading to 9.5.2 Add-In

Successfully installed 9.5.2 on test server.

TM1 Perspectives installation on PCs with Excel 2003 who haven't had any previous TM1 add-in work fine.

TM1 Perspectives installation on PCs with Excel 2003 who have had previous 9.1.4 add-in fail. Process followed:
--Old add-in uninstalled first
--New 9.5.2 installed via TM1 setup.exe
--Install completes fine
--Start Excel
--Under tools, add-in, click on IBM TM1 add-in
--Splash screen displays then everything stops
--upper left hand window of Excel displays "Excel (non responding)"
--use Task Manager to End Task

Problem seen using Excel 2003 and Windows XP. Also seen with Excel 2003 and Windows 7. Any ideas?

IBM came up with a fix.
Problem seemed to be due to the EXCEL11.XLB file.
I uninstalled everything.
Deleted the EXCEL11.XLB file.
Restarted the PC.
Reinstalled Perspectives 9.5.2 and the add-in worked normally.
