Hi,
today I have been looking into IBM Fix Central and selecting:
- Product Group: Information Management
- Product: Cognos TM1
- Installed Version: 9.5.2
- Platform: Windows 64-bit x86
- Select default Browser for fixes and Continue

There is displayed:
- interim fix: 9.5.2-BA-CTM1-Win64-IF002

Just wondering what is "Interim Fix"?

It looks "Interim Fix" is a new name for hotfix. Following above instructions (IBM Fix Central) the following web page is displayed: Cognos TM1 9.5.2 Interim Fix 2. There is problem description that this fix fixes: Copy & Paste of numbers having a comma as a decimal separator can paste an incorrect value in the TM1 Web and TM1 Contributor client

Is IBM Fix Central a new location for "hotfixes"? If it is, then this is good news to have all of the fixes on the same IBM web page. The bad news is there are still hotfixes (manual actions required) with new name instead of fixpacks (automatic installation of fix).

I would consider this an anomally. Becuase of the nature of this particular bug and how Critical it was (dealing with data
integrity) special permission was granted to put this Hot FIx on Fix Central.

The normal Hot Fix policy is all Hot Fixes must be sent by the IBM Global Defect Escalation Team only.
