Hi guys,

One of my clients reported finding this message in their error log:

4460 WARN 2008-12-04 19:54:24,519 TM1.Lock.SYSMT Reader count about to become negative.

I haven't actually ever seen this before - does anyone know what it might mean?

Can't say i've seen it before, what version of TM1 are they running? Might be worth speaking to Cognos support about this one as they *should* have a better idea what its on about. Might eb worth while looking at any messages just before and after it too in case they give you a hint as to what might have caused it.

They're running version 9.1 SP3. I checked the messages before and after and everything was completely normal.
Hmmm...I think hitting up Cognos may be the closest I might get to an answer.

Hi, Do we have a solution to this? We face this issue in 9.4 FP2 version. We briefly lost connection to the server and when checking tm1server.log this warning had been logged. However the connection was back to normal by itself. Is it a product defect? :S
