Method 'PasteFace' of object

Hi,

One of my users has created an input template in excel which is a little busy but nothing TM1 can't handle.

This template has 3 tab, If you do a shift F9 then the recalc of the tab you are currently on works fine.

Do a full F9 or hit the recalc button of all 3 tab and excel dies ?

I have been having some issues with the Tm1pRibbonx.xlam on some machines and have found that if I change the name of this and use TM1 as an addin its seems to work better.

getting back to my problem, If I have the tm1Ribbon active and I hit F9 on this template then excel crashes.

If I change the name of the TM1pRibbonX and use TM1 as a addin and hit F9 or recalc then I get the following.

Microsoft Visual Basic

Runtime error '-2147467259 (80004005)':

Method 'PasteFace' of object' _CommandBarButton' Failed.

Just as a foot note if the template is accessed via Tm1web (As I have published it to see if that made a difference) then F9 and recalc work fine so certainly a problem with excel.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

thanks in advance

What about the IBM Technote 1362037 ?
Could that be your issue ?
