Have a couple of "issues" with TM1:
1. Or client want to choose projects from picklist based on what kind of cost centre he is in. Have red in forums that people do not recomend using picklist for this purposes, and use projects as a dimension instead.
But this is a client request and i need to figure out the best solutinon? this has to be automated in som kind a way (automate subsets in TI?). any goodt tips? ex: cost center 1 = project 1, project 2. costcenter 2, project 3, project 4 .......
2. I have a fairly large dimension that i want to put security on, but achitecht just locks when I try to open and I have to restart? any workarounds?
3. To create an "application" i tm1 contributor with coegnos security the group cognos/evryone has to be a group in the tm1 server. basically my questions is, how og what is best practice with contribuor and cognos security?
I know it is a wideopen question but i`m hoping to get more knowledge out of the answers.
