Hi All

Having some fun and games trying to start a 9.5.1 installation.

Microsoft.NET framework 3.5 SP1 not registering when I try to enter the following:
aspnet_regiis.exe -i

At the following location via CMD prompt:
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727

I keep getting an error message:
"ASP.NET setup custom actions has stopped working"

I'm using Windows Server 2008. IIS is installed.

I've checked and I do have ADMIN access on the server so can't think what the issue could be.

Any help, greatly appreciated.

Hi Ajay,

I just did an install of 9.5.1 x64 on a 2K8 Server using IIS7

I used the windows powershell method from the link below which worked

Btw I don't know whether you are using contributor or not but if you are you really need to get some hotfixes for it. There is no fixpack for 9.5.1 but contributor is very badly bugged (data does not always get saved on the server)
