9.5.1 Update

There was a line in the IBM notification that I received yesterday indicating that:
"An updated version of Cognos TM1 9.5.1 is now available from IBM."
You, like me, may have been thinking "a new package incorporating hotfixes". However it is not so.
In the Windows environment, the main installation package has not been updated (confirmed with IBM support). However some of the Cognos 10 connection software has been. Specifically, the following packages show an update date of 14-Dec-10:
* IBM Cognos TM1 Package Connector 10.1.0 Windows Multilingual(CZU5WML)
* IBM Cognos TM1 Portlets 10.1.0 Multiplatform Multilingual(CZU5XML)
In the Linux environment, however, support has been added for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) as a result of which the following packages in the Linux download have been updated:
* IBM Cognos TM1 64-bit 9.5.1 Linux x86 Multilingual(CZU5SML)
* IBM Cognos TM1 Package Connector 10.1.0 Linux x86 Multilingual(CZU5UML)
* IBM Cognos TM1 Package Connector 10.1.0 Windows Multilingual(CZU5WML)
* IBM Cognos TM1 Portlets 10.1.0 Multiplatform Multilingual(CZU5XML)
