How to change name in Doimension ??

I want to change name of one of the elements in one of my Cube Dimensions. Why there is no such a functionality in dminesion editor like "change name" ?? How to chnage element's name :/ ??

I haven't checked yet but I think that this facility does exist in version 10.

For earlier versions you can use an Alias to give the element an alternate name

The only other approach is to export data for that element, delete the element and insert it again with a new name, and then re-import the data.

There is an undocumented TI function that can be used to SWAP an alias with an element principal name.

As this is undocumented no idea what version this kicks in from but it is there in 9.4 and 9.5 at least.
