Hi All

I have a requirement, where user wants a blog kinda interface for discussing on a situation. Like 1st user writes a description of the situation, and the next user writes a comment(by clicking on reply button) and comments goes on. This should capture the user and date time automatically. This will be done for each month. SO when next month comes every thing must start from first. How can this be implemented. Users will be entering the data through worksheets.

Thanks
Daya

What you want totally sounds like a blog to me. How can this blog be related to TM1? I can't see the link.

Obviously you'd need a string cube. You're on 9.5 so string length limitations aren't an issue. An action button could be used to create a new element and send the input plus a date time stamp up to the cube... but storing strings isn't TM1's forte, and you won't be able to have formatting or attachments. It would be worthwhile thinking about whether another tool would be better for what you're planning, possibly even a forum like this one, but running on your intranet.

Do you have Cognos BI? If so then Cognos 10 may be able to address your wan to blog text and provide TM1 content in the same location. They have business insight dashboards and lotus notes applications to help do this
