Condicional Formatting/TM1 Web

Post by Santiago »

Hi all

I set conditional formatting in Excel sheets on various items with level N of the same dimension. The problem is that when uploading to TM1 Web I can´t see the conditional formatting.
Then I tried to put conditional formatting to hide rows in the Excel spreadsheet which is supposedly due to conditional formatting. However, I can only set the format to all elements of Level N and formats are not as put them in different colors to different elements of the same level.
I hope you understand my query. I await your responses.
Thank you very much
Best regards,

Are you using active forms or a classic slice? If active forms, did you format the hidden rows at the to, or the body of the report? You need to do the former.

As Martin has said, more information is needed in order to help you.

In 9.4.1 and 9.5.0 conditional formatting does not work in active forms in TM1 Web (the conditional format gets applied only to the 1st row of the active form). This is fixed in 9.5.1

Which iteration of 9.4.1 are you talking about? I've been using it for a couple of years and have never had a problem getting the conditional formatting to work on any active form report.

There have been various regression bugs with this feature in 9.4 & 9.5 releases.

From memory conditional formatting on websheet active forms ..
- didn't work in 9.4.0
- worked in 9.4.1
- not sure in 9.4.1.1
- not sure in 9.4.1.2
- didn't work in 9.4.1.3
- didn't work in 9.5.0
- worked in 9.5.1

You might be on one of the good releases!

Once fixed a feature should stay fixed but that's unfortunately not the case (e.g. regression bug that breaks cube view drill through in perspectives cube viewer in 9.5.1 ...)

Hi All,
I have used basic conditional formatting in the condition with formula option. I could get the desired output in the perspective. However the same is not reflecting while it comes to TM1WEB. The interesting part is.. the formatting is proper when I slice it / export the report to a PDF file while the same report in the WEB is not formatted conditionally.
Thanks
