Alignment of Values in Tm1Web

Hi All,
Cognos Express 9.0
Mozilla Firefox 3.6.9
Is there any way you can align the values, to the left or right, in the cells when using a view in Web. We have a problem that if you have a string measure with a long typed value in, it alway aligns to the right of the cell.
Is there a way to change that alignment?
Thank you.

Hi,
The alignment used by Web is determined by the alignment set in Excel (either from the Home Ribbon or formatting toolbar or cell Properties), it is possible to align both text and numeric value left, right or centre and also top bottom too.
However, there is a known issue with column widths and the web. If the values in the column exceed the width they have on the web then this throws out any alignment that you have set. Althogh there is a hotfix for this (see notes on versions and patches above). Also be aware that the web will display column widths slightly differently to Excel.
Good Luck
Neil

Thank you Niel,
The problem however is not with Excel Reports but rather with Cube Views. Any idea on how to change those?

The only formatting you can do with Views is to change the numeric display.
