creating cubes in excel?

hi
1)is it possible to create cubes in excel
2 )how to create cube for data directory?

1. You can create cube with TI. You can use action button to run TI process from Excel or from websheet.
2. I do not understand the second question.

directly cant we create cube in excel? and

my 2nd question is "i need to create cube for data directory"of TM1 server ,is it possible ?

There is no Excel solution for creating cubes in Excel like XDI for dimensions or XRU for rules.

Not sure I understand the question either as what exactly is meant by "creating cubes in Excel"?

With administrator privileges this can be done quite easily in Perspectives server explorer (the TM1 add-in for Excel). Just right-click "cubes" and select "create new cube". In my definition this would qualify as "creating a TM1 cube in Excel."
