Hi All,

Excel 2007
Cognos Express 9.0

I am trying to use Web as a user interface with Express but keep getting this error message when I try to open up the web portal. Has anyone got any ideas on why this error might occur and what can be done to rectify it?

Hi,

I can't remember exactly, but I think I encountered this problem trying to access TM1Web from a client in another subnet than the server.
You can try to add the client machine to the trusted ones in cognos configuration.
Therefore open 'cogconfigw.exe' from the 'bin' directory of the installation path of Cognos Express. Hope this helps.
