TM1 9.5.1 compatibility with Executive Viewer 9.4?

Hi

We are currently using TM1 9.1.4 with Executive Viewer 9.4. As the product support for TM1 9.1.4 runs out in december we have started looking at the upgrade path. I have not seen anything about a newer version of Executive viewer, so does anyone know if EV will work with 9.5.1?

Also, any general comments on the 9.5.1 version would be appreciated - I assume it is a much more stable version than 9.5.0?

thanks

-Marc

thankyou. Any idea on the support period for this version? If it is not specifically mentioned, then what is the typical support period for TM1 versions? I looked at lots of the support pages but was unable to find anything.

Thanks

Tm1 9.5.1 has just been released and is the latest version of TM1...I think you will have a few years until this version will be supported. So go for it. :)

Marc, Just to clarify, it is ACTIVE support for Version 9.0 and 9.1 which expires at the end of Dec 2010. These versions will continue to be supported in terms of queries etc but this means that IBM will offer no more patches ( SPs, FP's MR's, or whatever) for them. So, if any software bugs are discovered you will be asked to move to a newer version.

Many of our clients are still on Ver 9.0 SP3, which is a robust proven version. However quite a few are considering an upgrade because of the introduction of Office 2007 (supported form 9.4 onwards) and maybe Windows 7\Windows Server 2008 (supported from 9.5.1 onwards).

Remember that there may be cost implications if you wish to use the new Contributor functions in Ver 9.5.
