"Internal error 27555"-Install Server 2008 R2 pack for 9.5.1

Hi
a) Is it possible to install TM1 web and TM1 contributor on Windows XP professional O/S? Reason why I ask is I could install TM19.5 Servers and Client software but when I tried to install TM1web, it's throwing an error "Internal Error 27555".
b) Does this error mean I need to install Windows server 2008 R2 pack Operating system?
C) Is there any other alternative without installing Windows Server 2008 R2 pack?

Your suggestion is highly appreciated.
Thanks

I've installed 9.5.1 to XP pro successfully. I do not know what your error means, unfortunately. Sorry.

Internal Error 27555 means that Windows 2008 R2 is required.

If you want to install it on the Windows XP then do a TM1 Client install.

TM1 Perspectives (client) supports the following operating systems:

Windows XP (Intel 32-bit) SP3
Windows Vista Business SP1 or higher (Intel 32-bit)
Windows 7
Windows 2000 (Intel 32-bit)

I'm getting the same error when I try to install TM1Web 9.5.1 on a Windows Vista Business machine:

I haven't tried to find out yet what is causing the error though. I also haven't tried installing as Administrator yet (but UAC is switched of on this machine).

I have installed TM1 client (9.5.1 version) but it's not solving my requirement. I need to install TM1 web aswell. Can TM1 Web 9.5.1 be installed on XP professional? Your experiences in this regard is highly apprecaited. Thank you.

Thanks for your inputs. Could you please explain how you did it? Have you installed TM1web and TM1 Contributor in Windows XP Professional machine. Are you able to login to TM1 web and TM1 contributor? Many Thanks -SARAS

Yes, as mentioned in my post previously if you will install the TM1 client then you should be able to use TM1Web and Contributor in Windows XP environment.
