I want to know how the complex templates are created in TM1? What all are the features involved other than simple slicing?What all can be included in a template?

The simple answer is "anything that you can include in a standard Excel file". The longer answer is:

I know that by using Active Forms or slicing we can do it but when comes to complex cubes with more than one or two views what should be done and how to proceed after slicing?Is it possible to get values from more than one cube in a single worksheet?How to include an action button in a template?

Hi,

Suggest you read the TM1 User Guide and Reference Guide to have an idea how to use Excel-TM1 formula. This will help you a lot. I doubt anyone here will provide comment to your request given the nature of your question.

for creating the action button,you can get this when you run your TM1 perspective,select insert action button , you can view a button on excel sheet,select on that change the name and properties.
Action Button is used for running the TI process, and also to load data.
