9.1 Security Setup Question

We have a select group of financial users that have access to all cost centers for financial reporting. As the cost center dimension is part of our 'payroll' cube, and even though those users don't have rights to the payroll cube, they are able to access all payroll cube data due to the cost center. Is there anyway within the security environment of Applix to control this?

If this user group has "NONE" access assigned to the payroll cube, they should not be able to see / access the cube at all, regardless of the element level security assignments in the cost center dimension.

Clarification: Some users do have access to payroll cube to allow updates related to the planning process. Is there anyway to limit this by cost center even though they have access to all cost centers for financial reporting purposes?

The easiest way would be to maintain separate but identical cost centre dimensions for reporting vs. planning and apply different element security to each dimension.
